You can ask Gemini Apps to create and show your notes and lists in Google Keep, HONOR Notes, OnePlus Notes, OPPO Notes, Samsung Notes, TECNO Notepad, Vivo Notes, and Xiaomi Notes. You can also ask them to add items to existing lists in Google Keep.
Important:
- The features related to notes and lists aren't available in Gemini in Google Messages.
- These features are currently being released in all languages supported by Gemini Apps. The release is gradual, so it might not be available to you just yet.
- The supported apps for notes and lists are only available in Gemini Apps when Gemini Apps Activity is on.
- Gemini Apps can hallucinate responses or provide outdated information. To check the information, click and review the sources listed after the response.
- To use this feature, you must be signed in to Gemini Apps. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps.
Use Google Keep in Gemini Apps
To work with your notes and lists from Google Keep in Gemini Apps, Google Workspace must be connected to Gemini Apps.
- Go to gemini.google.com.
- Make sure you’re signed in to the same account you use with Google Workspace.
- Ask the Gemini app to create or find a list from Google Keep.
- Tip: To tell Gemini Apps to specifically use Google Keep, add
@Google Keepto your prompt.

- If you haven’t connected Google Workspace, you’ll get the option to connect it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Tip: You can also disable Google Workspace on your Apps page in Gemini settings.
What Gemini Apps can’t do
Gemini Apps can’t perform certain actions in your notes and lists apps for you, like:
- Share notes and lists
- View images and drawings
- Add an image
In addition, Gemini Apps can’t currently modify a note or delete notes and lists in Samsung Notes or Xiaomi notes. Gemini Apps also can’t delete a shared note owned by someone else.
Create a note or list
Create notes & lists by giving specific details- Create a note called [note name]
- Create a list called [list name] with [item 1, item 2, …]
You can ask Gemini Apps to perform a task and create a note or list. For example:
- Recommend some activities for [event] and save this to Keep.
- Make an outline for [topic].

- Tell me what steps I need to take to [goal or task]. Then create a list in Keep.
- Find a recipe for [dish] and create a list of the ingredients in Keep.
Tips:
- To create a note in Google Keep, you can add “Save this to Keep” or “@Google Keep save this.” Or, to create a list in Google Keep, add “Create a list in Keep” or “Create a list of the [items, steps, ingredients, …] in Keep.”
- To create a note in another app, you can add “Save this to @[app name]” or “@[app name] save this.”
Add item to an existing list in Google Keep

Tip: On supported Samsung mobile devices, the Gemini mobile app can add an item to an existing list in the Samsung Reminder app if the app is enabled on your Apps page in Gemini settings.
You can ask Gemini Apps to perform a task and add an item to an existing list in Google Keep. For example:
- What materials will I need for [activity or task]?
- Find me a recipe for [dish] and save the ingredients to Keep.
Tip: To undo an action, select Undo in the confirmation notification, or open and edit the list linked below the response. If you created a note with Gemini Live on in the background, Gemini can’t undo the note.

You can use your notes or lists to ask Gemini Apps to perform a task. For example:
- Help me create a [song, story, …] based on my Keep note called [note name]
- Suggest a [dish, activity, …] from the items in my [list name] list
How connected apps work in Gemini
- Gemini only connects to apps that are on in your Apps page in Gemini settings. This includes apps you turn on when you specify them in your prompt with an "@" mention.
- Some apps are designed to automatically work with Gemini apps.
- When you ask Gemini for help, Gemini checks for connected apps that can help it generate a more helpful response for you. If Gemini finds a connected app that can help with your request, it automatically sends information from your conversation and other relevant information to that app. For example, Gemini will send your location data to Google Maps if you ask for coffee shops near you and the Google Maps app is on in your Apps page in Gemini settings.
- If you directly interact with another Google service in Gemini Apps, your activity might be saved by that other service. For example, if you watch a YouTube video in a Gemini app, YouTube may:
- Collect your personal information.
- Store and use that information according to YouTube’s terms of service.
- Store your watch history in your YouTube History. Learn how to manage your YouTube watch history.
- Gemini Apps can connect with third-party apps and services. When they do, Gemini Apps share information with those apps and services to fulfill your requests. That information is then used by those third-party apps and services according to their own developers' privacy policies.
- If you disable the YouTube app, you can still talk Live about a video you’re viewing in the YouTube app.
